My figure drawing group had the same model over several days in the same pose, allowing me the unique opportunity to make two developed drawings from the same pose. This is the second drawing from that pose. What a joy to have more time, and to be able to draw extra things like shadow and drapery! I made an effort to draw with smoother transitions, enhancing the softness of the skin. 

 

This is the model as I saw her. I believe she was beautiful as God created her and I didn’t make any changes. In an era where female bodies are constantly visually altered or “enhanced,” I aim to make representations of female normalcy.
